We've used Variable Concave and Camber on our carving boards since we started in 2005. This powerful feature combination translates your movements into predictable, controlled carves.
With the Crush we have used that same formula in a symmetric design and we added Concave Flares. Concave Flares help you dig as deep as you want from rail to rail. These features, combined with a cambered center, let you drive turns using your whole body.
The ends have been modified by Thriftskate.com to accommodate LDP brackets like Loaded Zee Brackets or Gbomb Brackets.
Nearly Naked Construction
Each Crush has a bamboo core sandwiched between layers of pre-tensioned triaxial fiberglass. Our pre-tensioned fiberglass weighs less and has more pop than other fiberglass.
Graphics are applied using sublimation to tattoo our graphics directly into the fiberglass. This keeps the deck light and provides a long-lasting, scratch proof graphic.
Each deck has a semi-translucent, satin finish showing off the depth, grain and beauty of the bamboo core.
When you see 'B-Grade' or '2nd' in the product description, it means that the board has one or more cosmetic blemishes. These blemishes do not affect the overall structural integrity of the board, and we sell them at great discounts! They work perfectly, and you usually can't tell the difference unless you are looking at the board up close. Buying a B-Grade is a great way to save some money while still getting an amazing product. B-Grade board blemishes may include but are not limited to:
- Discolored graphics
- Misaligned graphics
- Depressions (in wheel wells etc.)
- Bamboo core cracks filled with resin
- Scratches
