Standard: Fresh out of the wrap these wheels feature a grippy skin and good roll speed. Once the aggressive skin is worn past it is succeeded by a gentle, controllable and somewhat thaney urethane. The now skinless Slates have a forgiving edge, and gentle stopping power that resemble safely rolling a stop sign; a safe amount breaking power without the lurch.The skin is quite aggressive out of package.
Stoneground: Sharp square lips and a stoneground finish make this the perfect fast freeride wheel. This version saves you the effort of wearing through the aggressive skin on Standard Slates.
Rain Cut: Machine cut rain grooves allow you to enjoy Stoneground Slates in all weather conditions. The rain cuts allow water to pass through and grip the road in wet conditions.
